SCHOLARSHIPS
POW supports students learning and working in water related fields in Michigan by providing student scholarships at every higher education institution within Oakland County that offers an environmental science or water resource based engineering program. These schools include Lawrence Technological University, Oakland University, and Rochester College.

“I interned with the Clinton River Watershed Council in 2020 with support provided by Pure Oakland Water (POW). It developed into a full-time position, where I now play a part in teaching future POW interns the very same lessons I learned. It continues to bring me immense joy and fulfillment to work in this field, and it means a great deal to me to be able to work in the watershed I’ve lived in my whole life.”
